My third time at Askari and the project goes a little deeper into my heart again. I love this place, I love the ethos, the authenticity, the genuine conservationists and I love how I feel when I’m here. Every part of the project, from the boots on the ground labour activities to the plethora of wildlife focussed day trips and on site game drives, fulfils my need to be out in the bush contributing to conservation. Stu and Bron have stepped into Katies’ shoes while she’s been on maternity leave and have done her proud. I leave a piece of my heart here once again as I fly home.
