I arrived at Askari without any knowledge of conservation, nor of diverse animals and protection. In the last 6 weeks I have acquired so much knowledge which I made my stay that much more interesting and intriguing. Every piece of knowledge that I could remember and recite was welcomed with cheer from Katie and Ed. Their enthusiasm together with the love of work and daily experiences makes the whole adventure ever so more exciting. The work that we did was always with Katie & Ed, the managers, which gave us a feeling of working as a team. Here in Askari, they are trying to make a change in wildlife and I am walking away with a feeling of accomplishment to be a small part of that change for 6 weeks of my life.
